Iron Man 2: A Brief Review
If you liked the original Iron Man, you're probably just one of many comic book hero freaks who were responsible in propelling the movie into a surprise box office hit. Now that the sequel is upon us, check out the following brief review of Iron Man 2.
Reprising his role as the flamboyant millionaire-cum-superhero John Stark, Robert Downey Jr. breezes his way through the sequel and strengthens his grip on the role that brought his career back from the dead. He's joined by returning cast member, Gwyneth Paltrow, and the sexy starlet Scarlet Johansson. The sequel has a new set of villains in the form of Mickey Rourke and Sam Rockwell.
Without giving too much away, expect some real good fun watching the sequel – as it is the ultimate summer blockbuster movie. However, be prepared to leave your brain at the door. Like its predecessor, Iron Man 2 is a great example of how big budget film can be made impressive when done right.
