Kids Movies Festival For This Summer

This summer families are crowding to multiplexes to show their kids 3 d kids movies. Kids movies like Kung Fu Panda 2, Cars 2, etc. are a summer time hit and families cannot resist seeing these kids movies for a second time.
Jim Kealy, UW Cinematheque Director thought of a better way to utilize kids time and is showcasing a series of kids movies under the show "Movietime".The main objective behind the move is to present the best in independent ,foreign and classic segment of kids movies.
Families went to see "Eleanor's Secret" last weekend. Its a 2009 French animated kids film which deals with the story of a boy who meets Alice in Wonderland and other characters from story books coming to life and into his life.
As this movie was not available in The US, it was dubbed in English and presented. Alternatively another version had English subtitles while the movie was in French.
Kids movies lined up for this month are, "The Cameraman" (this weekend ) which is a 1928 silent movie, "The Red Balloon" scheduled for 16th July, a series of animated short kids movies, from the well known Ray Harryhausen and George Pal for July 23rd and "The Muppet Movie" for July 30th.
